**CLOSED** EAST BAY RIDING ACADEMY **CLOSED**

**UPDATE from EBRA: We are very sad to announce that after 10 years the East Bay Riding Academy will be closing its doors. We hope to re-open in the future, but for now we will need to say goodbye.

Thanks so much for your patronage over the years — we view our students as family, and will miss having you ride with us. We appreciate the time you have been with us & wish you all the best in your future riding endeavors! **

At the East Bay Riding Academy, we work to design a unique program for every student to meet their goals in riding and working with horses. Whether you dream of competing for blue ribbons on the local circuit, or heading to the Olympics one day, every student is encouraged to set goals and our priority is to help you meet them.

East Bay Riding Academy offers a highly individualized lesson program with an emphasis on safety, learning, and competition. We believe riding is not just about the work on horseback, but that horsemanship and horse care are crucial elements in the learning process. All of our lessons include time for the student to learn to lead, groom, and tack-up their own horse, all while under the careful mentorship of one of our qualified instructors. In the saddle, students learn to improve their riding skills in a safe and productive way and are always encouraged to set and reach new goals. We understand that each rider is unique, which is why we take the time to develop an individualized program catered to each rider’s strengths, weaknesses, and goals.

We are a Riding Academy for ambitious and aspiring young riders who hope to learn the skills needed to succeed in the competition circuit. We teach English Riding Lessons for Children on our ponies. Lessons are spent riding as well as working on the ground learning horse care (brushing the horse, tacking up, good horsemanship, etc).

Please arrive on time to ensure your child has the best experience possible!

Our students require heeled shoes or boots, and long pants to ride. We provide a helmet, as well as a safety vest, to ensure maximum safety around the horse and in the saddle.
